President

She started her payroll adventure in the retail industry, also working in the manufacturing, hospitality and finance industries. She is currently the payroll supervisor for Rummel Construction and had worked in the construction industry for 6 years. She obtained her CPP in 1997. Jennifer has been a local and national member over 10 years. She has served on the local chapter membership and newsletter committees, and has help plan 4 state conferences. This year, Jennifer received a citation of merit from the APA for her efforts on the Hotline referral.

Vice President

You need JavaScript enabled to view it  - Deborah (Fallon) Piacitelli has been a payroll professional for over 20 years, and a CPP for 11 years.  Previously from the Boston area, Deborah moved to Phoenix in 2002 to pursue her MBA and to reconnect with family members that relocated to the valley ten years earlier.  Deborah is the Payroll Director at GoDaddy.  Deborah was actively involved for many years in the Greater Boston Chapter of the APA, serving as Vice President prior to her move to Phoenix.  Deborah lives in Fountain Hills with her husband John, has three step-children, is actively involved in her local church, a self-proclaimed yoga nut, and a musician.

Treasurer

You need JavaScript enabled to view it  -  Jo has been a National Member of the American Payroll Association (APA) a local member with the Metro Phoenix APA Chapter since 1999.  She obtained her CPP in the spring of 2003.  She also has an associate degree in accounting and has a certificate in Professional Human Resource Management.  Jo currently serves on the GATF Immigration Subcommittee and GATF DP&S Subcommittee for the American Payroll Association.  She received her second citation of merit from the APA for her efforts on the Hotline referral.   This year Jo won honorable mention when she applied for the APA Payroll Education Grant.  Jo’s humble beginnings in retail and banking led her to pursue her passion for payroll.  Jo has over 20 years of payroll processing, tax filing and reporting, garnishment calculating, reconciliations, accounting, Human Resources and supervisory experience.   Jo has been the Payroll Administrator for Modern Industries for the last 3 years. 

Secretary

You need JavaScript enabled to view it - Sonda has twenty plus years payroll experience with multi-state payrolls and payroll tax filings.  She has managed teams of 2-10 employees with companies having from 500-34,000 employees.  Sonda has been a CPP for 15 years.

Government Liason

You need JavaScript enabled to view it - Judie has over 20 years experience in the Payroll field, working in companies with 1,200 to over 100,000 employees.  For the past ten years, she has been employed by American Express as a Payroll Financial Analyst. She has multi state tax experience with employees in all 50 states, D.C. and Puerto Rico. Judie has dealt with expatriate and visa employees. A member of the National APA for 20 plus years, she was one of the founding members of the Metro Phoenix Chapter.  Judie was one of the original people to work on the committe that presented the first Arizona State Payroll Conference.  Earning her CPP certification in 1995 she has also received Citations of Merit from National APA in 2002, 2003 and 2005 for her work on Chapter of the Year Committee.
